HISTORY

4U Credit Union formerly NASCOGA NA (National) S (Supply) CO (Company of) GA (Gainesville) was chartered on May 15, 1956. There were ten charter members who each paid five dollars for a share in the organization. In the beginning, the office of the credit union was in a small corner of the plant itself. It was opened only a few hours each week and was manned by volunteers.

Today we are a financially sound, rapidly growing, $133 million credit union. We offer a full spectrum of services. With the approval of a community charter in 1998, anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in Cooke or Grayson Counties, or may become a member if you have a family member that is currently a member you can join. We would like to invite you to join today and take advantage of the many benefits your membership brings.

Because of the legacy that our founding members created for the Credit Union and the future it was agreed upon by the Board of Directors in 2018 to update the name of the Credit Union to grow in other markets and provide financial services to our current membership as well as future membership. It was decided to update the name of the Credit Union to 4U Credit Union to let everyone know that we are here 4U our members, community members, potential members; For Today. For Tomorrow. For You.
