If a debit or credit card purchase that you initiate is suspected to be a possible fraudulent transaction you could get a text message to verify the transaction almost immediately after processing; if you do not respond to the text message, 15 minutes later a follow-up phone call will be made to you to confirm or reject the transaction. Answering these text messages or phone calls will help eliminate the possibility of your debit or credit card being charged and or being flagged as stolen and turned off to any other transactions.
